The Department of Planning and Community Development, Division of Citizen Participation, has authorized funding of $27,000 for the City Electrician to proceed with the lighting upgrade for Newcom Park. This project is being implemented from the Repair and Replacment funds of the Neighborhood Inititative Program. The authorization for this project is based upon previous commitment from the City of Dayton to maintain the project when it was originally approved in the late '70s.
